Unable to establish communication between Client and Server&#8221;. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>I found a way to fix this. Here is how:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From the command prompt of the&nbsp; client open a command prompt and type DCOMCNFG\n<li>Go to: \u201cComponent Services &gt; Computers &gt; My Computer\u201d.\n<li>Open Properties for \u201cMy Computer\u201d and select the COM Security tab.\n<li>In \u201cAccess Permissions\u201d area click the \u201cEdit Limits\u201d button.\n<li>Select the \u201cAnonymous Logon\u201d-group and make sure the \u201cRemote Access\u201d is set to Allowed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Now your client will connect successfully to the server.<\/p>\n<p>Note that for server management &#8220;Server Manager &gt;&gt; Computer Management&#8221; you still need a firewall rule on the server or simply disable the firewall completely [not recommended] using this command:<\/p>\n<p>netsh firewall set opmode mode=disable<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While trying to connect from a Windows 8 Enterprise client machine to my Windows Server Hyper-V 2012 server via the Hyper-V Manager, I kept getting this error message:&#8220;Access denied.
